Beyonce (and others)

It was spring time of 2004, and there was a Beyonce, Missy Elliot and Alicia Keys concert coming up in Minneapolis.  I begged my room mate to come with me, I even offered to buy her a ticket, but she didn’t want to go!!! She said she didn’t like “Big Concerts” (even though she’s never been to one).  I was really furstrated at her, really who would miss that concert! COME ON! Beyonce, Missy AND Alicia all at one time.  WOW.

So I thought, and said “To hell with you, I’m going alone”  I got my ticket ticket late but THANK GOD since I was only one person, I was sitting in the 15th row, SO CLOSE yet SO FAR AWAY!  All I could say was WOW, Missy really rocked the stage, she was amazing.  I’m not a HUGE fan of Missy, but I do like some of her songs, and she is a true performer.

Alicia, oh what can I say, I absoloutly adore her, I think her music is amazing.  She was so good on stage, I got goosebumps.

And ofcourse “khetamuha Misk” Beyonce was the last to perform.  I LOVE HER.  I have a female crush on Beyonce.  Since I don’t know her I could only judge her from what I hear and see (in entertainment news) and well I think shes nice.  A couple of guys I know met her in Miami, and they said she was very nice and approachable.  Another person I met told me that they had met Beyonce and she was extremly nice.

I find her to be beautiful, because well, she’s proud of what her Momma gave her.  She has curves and shes proud to show them off, shes not going on those crazy diets trying to lose her assets 😉  She might not be the best actress out there, but her voice makes up for it.  And her performance in the concert was amazing!!! I got a rush just watching her up on stage, it was great.

Two of my friends went to her concert this summer in the US.  When they came back adn showed us the pictures and videos I was kind of jealous ;p Her song “Irreplaceable” was MY theme song through out this past winter.  I listened to it until well I got over it (not the song).
I loved beyonce since Destinys Child.  The days when “No,No,No” and “Say My Name” were hits.  Those songs were great.  I love “Survivor” hahaha memories with mrm.  “Crazy in Love” makes me wanna just dance like crazy!

I also really like Avril Lavigne’s music, I could relate to a lot of the words in her songs, some of my favorite songs for Avril are “Complicated”, “My Happy Ending”, “Fall to Pieces”,  “Nobodys Home”, “Losing Grip”, “Take Me Away”, and her new song ” When You’re Gone”.  Oh yeah how could I forget “Skater Boy”!!!
