Join me in my happiness!

I am SO happy right now. I was so nervous about my grades for the last month, but right now I can calm down.  I got 2 Merits and a distinction so far!!!!! In the class that I got a distinction I nearly turned in the paper late bas Mirim and taquito motivated me to finish it and turn it in on time.  At that point 7adi I was freaking out and nearly had a Mariah (ya3ni nervous breakdown), bas they made me work and I did it! Wala I am so proud of my self!!!!

Ooh my blog turned 2 years old last month, I forgot to celebrate its birthday!!! Happy Birthday Chirp Stories!!!!

When I was food poisoned and holding on to dear life on the porcelain throne, Mirim called the NHS (national health services) hotline to see if I should go to the hospital or not, cuz they really can’t give you anything for food poisoning, your supposed to “starve it”.  So when she was talking to them, they told her that any questions they tell her she has to ask me cuz the nurse on the phone had to hear me answering.  So the nurse asks the usual questions, name, age, ethnicity, then she asks “Is she pregnant”, mirim laughing asks me the question and i shoot daggers at her and I scream NOOO.  5 minutes when the phone is handed to me she asks me the same question! At that time i was annoyed because she kept on asking me the same questions, bas now that I think of it I find it funny.

I have been watching a lot of House and Greys anatomy lately and I have come to a realization, I want to be an organ donor when I die.  Hopefully my organs will be all healthy.  I also don’t want to ever be left on life support.  Would you guys consider being organ donors??

Whats your biggest fear?

The biggest one on my list is losing the people closest to me.  Like really close.  My second biggest fear is being raped.  I watch too much Law and Order SVU i know but still its so scary! Just the idea of it.

I have one more question …

If you were a prison warden and one of the people on death row gets a heart attack, would you take them to the hospital and save them, just to bring them back into jail and kill them a couple of weeks later?  And if you were the doctor working on prisoner, would you try your hardest like you promised in the oath you gave?

I would donate a kidney or part of my liver while I am a live but not when I die. You never know what are you feeling when your dead! Its like doing something now and paying for it later! And my answer to your last question is yes, I would try and do my best, so that he dies like he deserves to, in prison and in front of those that he made suffer. Oh and My biggest fears are; losing a close relative/ friend and failing in final med which is in few months time! I better go study!

    Happy b-birthday!

Yes, I want to be an organ donor, and just need to figure out where I need to sign up. The only thing I worry about is my current or future family’s reaction.

I think I share your first fear, the 2nd, I say 1 kick and your free to go 🙂

I don’t believe in the death penalty, but if what they did is proofed 100%, then I would ummm….madry sada3 rasy 😛

    Congrats on the good grades!

    Happy Blogday!

Would I be an organ donor…. I want my healthy organs to help save people. But my fear is that doctors with blurred ethical lines won’t try as hard to save me because my death would be beneficial to many others.

I would not want to be on life support. What matters to me is not the length of my life but rather it’s quality. If my life consisted of pain and feeding tubes (with no hope of improving), i think I’d prefer to be dead.

I would treat the death row inmate. Prisoners are people too. As a doctor, it is not my job to decide who lives and who dies. I just treat people. All people.

    House MD rocks!

    * As a teacher, I’m proud of you for having amazing grades lol
    Congrats! You deserve them! 😀

    * Happy Blogoversary!

    * Maybe the lady on the phone thought it was a “I hope not!” no, instead of a “Hell no!” no… or she’s partially deaf 😀

    * I’d love to be an organ donor. Alive (kidney or part of my liver) AND dead if it means saving somebody who’s in need. I just hope the doctors don’t have “blurred ethical lines” (3ejabni the expression lol) like Prophet said 😀

    * My biggest fear is failure. In anything. I’m somewhat stubborn so if I do something I want to perfect it, or if I’m put in a position, I want to do my best with it. Best daughter, best wife, best teacher, good photographer, good Photoshopper etc..
And kicking a man in the groin is always fun, just imagine how your knee would bounce back! You can run away after laughing your head off at the bastard 😀

    * This comment is turning into a post, so the answer to the prisoner thing: Yes, I’d save him.
